21st October 2003 (TUESDAY)

Due to the insufficient number of entries, the last challenge for Viper Group build was not able to proceed and thus cancelled. We apologised to those who turned up on that day. Perhaps we can do a better one in 2004! We have also updated on our FRONTLINE CHALLENGE page and added a new linkpage for our coming December MECHA RESOLUTION 2003 page. Check it out! The final dates for this new MECHA RESOLUTION 2003 have not been fixed but it should be on either the 2nd or 3rd week of December, but definitely before the week of Christmas. You can see some slight differences from the first one (MR2002) we did in 2002. Yes, we listened and adopted to some of your feedbacks and we decide to try doing it this way to see if it is better for you guys who are interested in the event. 30th July 2003 (WEDNESDAY)

Well, after much hassles and overtimes, we are pleased to infom everyone that finally S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN FRONTLINE has been shifted to a better and bigger ( 50% ) shop area in town. This shift marked a new phase for us and is part of our business strategy to better serve our fellow friends and customers! We are very sure that our new position allows us to do things that was not possible in the early stage and now put us into a new race-track to compete even more aggresively against our competitors. The next 6 months would see big revolution strategy from us and what it meant to every average modellers in town is that you may see even better bargain for your future purchases! We are finally ending our 4TH WAVE of our "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES" started on 1st May 2003 and would ended tomorrow ( 31st July 2003)! We are now looking into the 5TH WAVE later this year! We have updated on our FRONTLINE CHALLENGE page. The JULY challenge was completed with a total of 9 entries! We did not expected this number of entries and this really took us by surprise! Congrats to the 2 winners, Desmond and Pierre who works are simply first class and highly recognised by the other challengers. We also like to thank all the 7 guys who took part and also not forgetting the crowd that turned in that day. We are inspired by this turnout and decided to add another new Challenge in November 2003. More details are now available on FRONTLINE CHALLENGE page. Further, we like to inform everyone that MR2003 would be confirmed officially with this update and location has been set within our new S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN FRONTLINE located at Shaw Leisure Gallery! The steep inceases in workloads and higher volume of exports to regional countries has resulted in ZERO site update. As much as we like to update and keep moving with the dynamic online scene, we have to admit that we are unable to followup as close as we wanted to. A short summary as below on what happened the last few month (since our last update below on the 27th Feb), Our 3RD WAVE of "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES" ended with pretty cool results. We achieved what we wanted to do in term of bringing in more posting volume for the FORUM COMMUNITY, and we believed many of the guys participated in the auctions won themselves pretty good stuff at crazy prices. We are encouraged by the maturity of the majority which acted with great "sportsmanship". As mentioned in our forum, we are scheduling for another re-run (PART 2) for this auction based promotions. Kepp checking back! We have also started our new 4TH WAVE of our "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES" starting on the 1st May 2003 and running it continuosly until 31st July 2003! This is a second followup on our internet business as per the previous 3RD WAVE. For more details, please check out our good old FORUM COMMUNITY under S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN category! Further, we have updated on our FRONTLINE CHALLENGE page. As the MAY challenge is a last minute setup and frankly, we don't know how many entries are going to turn up, but we still like to proceed on as a challenge to ourselves. Of course being last minute, we have enhanced the prizes and goodies for both the challengers and the public. Included in the update are 2 future Challenges schedule for July and October 2003. At least when we don't have the extra time to update, the details are now announced in advance to the public!

Apology for the lack of update for almost a month! But we are really tied up on the current commissioned work orders for our MODELISMO STUDIOS. At present rate, we should be able to make ourselves free maybe in May/June to continue on our revamp/update our full website! Our 2ND WAVE of "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES" would come to an end in 2 more days! We would continue to launch our new WAVE starting on the 1st March 2003 and run it continuosly until 31st March 2003! "HOLY GOAT!" It is only less than a week to our local traditional Lunar/Chinese New Year (CNY)! Please be advised that S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN FRONTLINE would be scheduled for CNY shutdown starting from 31st January 2003 to 4th February 2003 (5 FULL DAYS) . We would resume our "FRONTLINE" business on the 5th February 2003, together with our much public-anticipated 2ND WAVE of "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES" launch! Five new special packages/super-deals have been set for this coming 2ND WAVE "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES". We would announce more details as we get closer to the actual date! More old pages have been revised and "spiced up"! These included MORE INTRODUCTION page, ABOUT AUTHOR page, MINIATURE GALLERIA page and S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN page. Furthermore, we have also re-adjusted our FORUM COMMUNITY page layout so that it would be inline with what we are doing on our main site. The best part of the new revision would probably be the most welcome factor for many! ALL forums within except S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN Section have been "liberated". No longer would the moderators need to approve your postings, BUT they are still around to help monitor and enforce the rules and regulations defined. Make full use of your class level now, as we are coming up with something BIG and beneficial for all registered users! Bear in mind, "abusers" would still be removed without warning for crossing the thin "red" line. The need to revise and update all info and details are part of our continuous efforts to keep this site as current as possible! We like to clear all backdated pages as soon as possible as we wanted to introduce new pages of model images and product listings. We have been a bit late in this area but it is better late than never! Keep checking back! A lot of fun and previlages + CRAZY OFFERs have been planned for this NEW year regardless of whether you are an average net surfer, fine scale modeller, SD customers or overseas friends/acquaintances. Our first wave of "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES" is currently making a big impact with the local modellers! Please check our FORUM COMMUNITY for more details on new additional items added in to substitute items that have been sold out or in low count! Finally a basic new page for our customised miniature model building services, MODELISMO STUDIOS! has been completed and uploaded. Here you would see some of our quality model works! Check it out! As time goes by, we would improve the look and added in more power graphics and cool model images! By now, you should have experienced and felt the new "colour flavourings" spiced up on the newly done pages! Many small details have been tweaked to achieve a better layout for 800*600 screen. Read thru the newly revised OPTIMIZATION PAGE to see the new differences! Well, you can't really see much diff if u never try to tweak your browser! Give it a try! You should love it! (I should not be held responsible for any mess-up you done to your PC! DUH!)

2nd January 2003 (THURSDAY)

Time really flies! Before we know it, it is another brand New Year! Well, we are excited to say that for this 2003, we would be launching a new "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES". As a matter of fact, our first wave has just been launched starting 1st January 2003 to 31st March 2003 for a full duration of 3 months! We would be superceding new promotion packages and offers as we go along until the end of 2003! There would be only surprises, MORE surprises, and CRAZIER surprises! in the following 12 months! All you need to do is to pay attention to this site and our FORUM COMMUNITY. Full details of our first wave, "BUY-2-GET-1-FREE!" PROMOTION can be found under S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN section of our FORUM COMMUNITY, since we are more dynamic this way than the usual HTML update/upload on the main site. Inline with this "GREAT 2003 S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN PROMOTION SERIES", we would be further extending our DISABLED high security mode for our FORUM COMMUNITY for the whole year of 2003! Indirectly, this means any non registered members (public) can now view the contents of the forum without the need to register (free). Posting still requires full registration though. We have also updated our frontpage with a new image of a recently done IDF S'hot commissioned by a US private collector! FYI, we have been receiving model commission works in later part of 2002 and we are expected to receive 2 times more projects this coming year! We are encouraged by this "positive momentum" gained in this niche industry and now designing a new page dedicated to our commission services in this area. This would be another extension of S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN known as "S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN STUDIOS" or simply "SD STUDIOS". More details to come! 17th December 2002 (TUESDAY)

The 16th FRONTLINE CHALLENGE, "LAST BATTLE OF 2002" ended with a whole new level of quality and standard! We have a total of 7 entries and it seemed that the trend has gone towards fixing Gundams on mid-air as 5 out of the 7 entries are all in flight mode. We like to thank everyone for turning out with their great efforts and supporting this event. Congrats also to Shane for winning the award with his impressive Titans MK 2. All entries on display in S.T.O.R.M DOMAIN FRONTLINE for a month. Those who missed out this challenge can still pop by for a quick look before they are back in their owners' cabinets... The first FRONTLINE CHALLENGE for next year has been listed. As mentioned, we are now working toward a quarterly event, so we are only expecting maximum 5 events for the whole of 2003 .Take notice of the revision on the prizes next year! We hope that this new revision would excite more guys to come forward and joined us! Also, we are now working on another MECHA RESOLUTION for 2003 just like the last MECHA RESOLUTION 2002 for this coming June holiday. If this is ever confirmed, we want it to be better than the last one at a lower rate, and with many other new features added based on the feedback and the experiences we gained. Keep checking back! Last but not the least, 25th Dec is nearing us while we surf! Hereby we wish all a great and peaceful white Christmas!
